Welcome To My Nightmare.

He said he wanted
To know her
All of her
But she resisted
For she knew
That if he knew her
Truly knew her
He would leave
But she also knew
That if she didn't
Let him in
He would still leave
So she took a chance
And said to him
"Welcome to my dark place
Where all my nightmares
Come true
Welcome to my terror
Where my worst fears
Chase me
And no matter where I hide
No matter how fast I run
They always catch me
They always win
Welcome to my dark place
But, fair warning,
Once you enter
There is no turning back
But if you truly wish to
Know me
This is where you'll find
The part of myself
That I hide from the
Rest of the world."
Silence
She waited
Finally
His reply
"Welcome to my dark place
Where my worst nightmares
Come true
This dark place is where
I am without you
For it is a place of terror
One that I do not wish to enter
The only dark place
I wish to enter
Is yours
Because in your dark place
It's actually not so dark
In fact it shines so bright
That the sun is jealous
Because in your dark place
Me and you
You and I
We fight
Side by side
And one day
You'll look up
And see
You'll realize
That maybe just maybe
This dark place of yours
Is in fact a happy ending
In disguise."
And so they
Began their journey
Hand in hand
Side by side.

Where shall I begin?? Well, I guess it really does not matter because my life is far from fascinating. But I've always wanted a blog simply because I am intrigued with the idea of random strangers reading about my oh so uneventful life. At the dreadful sound of my alarm clock I unwillingly dragged my dis-impassioned body to the community bathroom which I share with about 30 other girls. Thinking about that now kind of grosses me out but sharing a bathroom is what is expecting of you when you are a residential student in college. There are definitely pros and cons of this situation.
