Tedious Tuesday

Where shall I begin?? Well, I guess it really does not matter because my life is far from fascinating. But I've always wanted a blog simply because I am intrigued with the idea of random strangers reading about my oh so uneventful life.
Well, I guess I will entice my million of fans with my crazy, jam packed day by which I mean I shall inform my able to count with one finger (talking about myself) fan about my unremarkable humdrum life.
At the dreadful sound of my alarm clock I unwillingly dragged my dis-impassioned body to the community bathroom which I share with about 30 other girls. Thinking about that now kind of grosses me out but sharing a bathroom is what is expecting of you when you are a residential student in college. There are definitely pros and cons of this situation. Cleaning up hair that is obviously not yours is the worst part but when looking at the glass half full sharing a bathroom gives me the opportunity to get to know some of the women I live with. Anyways, back to my tedious Tuesday. After my ritual morning pee I brushed my teeth, even though my life is average does not mean my teeth have to be as well. I threw on some pants and a Marvel t-shirt, quickly applied some make-up, and before heading to Spanish class I inhaled some Honey Bunches of Oats. Now when I say inhaled, I literally mean INHALED. That bowl of cereal was in my stomach before I could even sit down to enjoy it. I grabbed by backpack and headed to my first class. Now, for some reason, my Spanish class is really small. SO small that our professor knows everyone of us by name and any time one of us skips he will call you out the next day. I, unfortunately skipped class Monday so today I was called out and on top of that I was actually late to class. Go Krista!! Now you may be wondering "what's the big deal?" Well, I have never been the type of girl who loves attention. I'm more of a behind the scenes kind of gal who does not need to be noticed but who will be missed if she ever leaves.
My next class was Spirit Empowered Living. This class is required because I attend a private Christian university where there are rules and regulations that I do NOT agree with. Anyways, the class went on as usual, well, I'm assuming it did. During this class I like to improve my skills in Sudoku or Spider Solitaire. (Yes. I am addicted to both of these games. Go ahead and make jokes. I'll probably laugh along with you)
Now it is lunch time and my healthy entree consisted of 20 pizza rolls and half a bag of Barbecue chips. For dessert I had chocolate ice cream and, honestly, I didn't even bother scooping some out of the carton into a bowl but, rather, I just ate right out of the carton itself. All this was washed down with some Mt. Dew which, luckily, was in a can so I didn't to drink out of the bottle.
Before heading to my last class of the day I decided to check my e-mail and much to my surprise I had received an e-mail from my professor saying class would be canceled for the day. (Unfortunately, this was most likely the highlight of my day.) So, to celebrate my freedom I decided to do a little nit of shopping. There's this store called Daisy Exchange next to the mall that is pretty much  just like Plato's Closet. When I get the urge to shop I go there first because everything is cheap. After looking around for about an hour I found a cardigan and a pair of white Keds. I have this crazy infatuation with  bulky sweater-like cardigans and I have been wanting a new pair of Keds. Granted, they are not actually brand new but they are new to me. Also, being a college student means finding good deals especially if you fancy buying clothes. I also did some grocery shopping and while at Wal-Mart I found the most adorable onsies for my sister's baby and my friend's baby ( who was actually born today!!)
Next on the agenda was dinner. I went to SAGA (the term used by students to refer to our cafeteria) with my friend Alexis. We usually eat dinner together about 3 times a week. She is truly amazing!! Like, AWESOME!!!! We discussed normal things such as our day, future plans, Halloween plans and pretty much any basic conversation of everyday students.
After saying our goodbyes and parting ways I settled into my not so comfortable dorm bed and watched a couple of scary movies which was my way of procrastinating. If the was a major of procrastination I would totally be acing that major. I could be honor student!! Unfortunately, that is not how the world goes round. After watching my movies (pathetically by myself) I laid out my assignments to prepare for a night of riveting study. But, those papers are still in the same exact position and I laid them out over an hour ago. I know! If I would just do them within a reasonable time I would not be so stressed out and cramming to finish them. It is even possible that I would get a full 8 hours of sleep at night but instead I am a master of procrastination. All in all, my biggest accomplishment of the day is the simple fact that I wrote my very first blog.
Now, this blog leans more toward the stale, mundane side of life but, nevertheless, I shall continue to inform my millions of random strangers, oh, who am kidding?? The only person who is ever going to read my blog is me. But, Hey! That is a simple fact that I can accept, simply because I do not care for attention.
